The AXC (Arkansas Xtreme Challenge) is headquartered in North Little Rock, Arkansas. It was founded late in 2008, and had their debut show Feb 14th, 2009 in North Little Rock appropriately named “The Valentine Day’s Massacre.” Mixed Martial Artists from across Central Arkansas will be fighting in the scheduled 12 match card that night.

The AXC was formed with the idea that Mixed Martial Arts in Arkansas is very abundant, but many of the local shows were not showcasing the talent that is hidden in many of our gyms and schools. With the cooperation of many of the Central Arkansas MMA schools, the AXC plans to show that MMA shows can be done with dignity & class, and also provide a very high quality of entertainment. We want to show that throwing a cage up, putting a light over it, selling beer and asking the crowd for fighters is no way to have a quality MMA show!

We would like to thank everybody in the local MMA community for their support and look forward to providing Central Arkansas with a MMA fight series they can be proud of! Now it is 2011, and the AXC is stronger than ever! With more than 12 shows under our belt, the AXC has no where else to look but up! 2011 has been titled the year of the champion, and AXC plans on awarding at least one championship title at each event this year.
